DAY 19: I am the music man...

The purpose of this play task was to make a noise.  

I like that.  

I always say I don't sing in tune, I make a joyful noise...here's to passing down joyful noisemaking to the SON (and hopefully he has inherited some of his Grandpa's musical ability too!)

SON has started doing some of the actions to sing songs.  The cutest is to watch him when we sing 'The Wheels on the bus'.

DAY 18: In the Kitchen

I usually hold SON while busy in the kitchen.  He loves to watch as I try cut, stir, simmer etc. with one hand!  I am hoping he stockpiles memories of happy kitchen times!  I'd like his future wife to be wowed by his culinary expertise (and make some mention of mummy's influence!)

Although SON wasn't all that hands/face on in this bake off, he was 'in the kitchen' and kept watch as the biscuits baked!  (We only have a photo of the finished product as mummy had her hands full in the process!)

DAY 17: Reading

SON decided reading would be in a tub today!  

SON's favourite place for a story is usually on mummy or daddy's lap.
